[한인사회소식] 피클볼로 스포츠 선교 전선에 다시 서다!

박남진 선교사, 제주에서 중국등 타민족에 복음 전해 유소년 선수 발굴과 복음전도, 시니어 건강전도를 위해서도
전세계 휘몰고 있는 스포츠, 피클볼 열풍이 미국을 넘어 아시아권까지 요동치고 있는 가운데 복음과 선교 다음세대 그리고 건강한 심신의 영향력을 끼치는 피클볼 선교회를 세우라는 강한 도전으로 제주도에서 틴에이저 피클볼 캠프 원장으로 섬기고 있는 박남진 선교사내외가 지난 달, 엘이이를 방문했다.
피클볼 선교회(가칭 more than pickleball: 그이상의피클볼) 설립을 꿈꾸고 있는 박선교사는 세계적 관광지로 떠오르고 있는 제주도를 한국 피크볼선교의 중심으로 자리 잡을 것으로 확신하고 사역을 준비 중이다.
박선교사는 미국의 여러주를 방문하면서 피클볼 확산은 지구촌 어디도 예외 없음을 확인 했다면서 휴스턴와 캘리포니아 소재 여러 교회들이 이미 전도와 선교에 피클볼을 활용하고 있다고 강조했다. 미국에 있는 한인들과 화교, 중국인 성도 및 불신자들을 위해서도 피클볼은 큰 영향력을 끼칠 수 있을것이라 내다봤다.
박선교사는 이를 위해 제주도에서 8면 실내 코트를 진행하려고 기도중에 있다. 그의 기도제목은 1.유소년을 조기 발굴하여 올림픽 종목 꿈나무들을 키우고 2.다음세대 청소년들과 청년들에게 피클볼 캠프를 통해 피클볼과 복음과 선교를 강력하게 선포 하는 것 3.장년과 시니어들에게 건강과 활력을 불어넣어 복음을 전하는 접촉점으로 삼을 것 등이다.
